Katrin Korfmann - Ariel Art

Korfmann explores notions of space and time from a series of ariel shots to create patterns with the people and objects being photographed.

The tiny pops of colour against the monochrome grounds (and indeed vise verse in Kings College Cambridge) are what draw me  into these beautifully constructed images.

Please follow the link to her website clicking on the title of this post to read more about how she produces her work.

The coat hanger print in this dress is a real highlight for me proving inspiration and great design can come from even the most inconspicuous of everyday objects!

Colour Palettes

Ana Montiel - 'Floral Mantra'

Christopher Schreck

CTRLZAK Studio for Seletti
(Hybrid ceramics: half traditional Oriental patterns and half traditional European patterns)

Lance Letscher - 'One Thing'

Aranxa Esteve and Lucia Rallo - Sweet Letters
(Edible sweets)

Xenz - 'Cloud Cuckoo Land'
(Although a lovely colour palette, its the interpretation of cloud cuckoo land that I like perhaps more)
